Whether you are working to balance your creative energy with the realities of our current world, going through a major transition, or wanting to connect more to yourself, you deserve a path forward. I provide telehealth services to support clients in these desires and more.
A bit about me: After graduating from UCLA with a B.A. in English, I set out to understand how my own voice and story could help make a difference in the lives of others. This journey led me through work in suicide prevention and mental health advocacy in UCLA’s Student Affairs Office, to peer coaching work and continually reading about psychology and self-improvement, all the way to an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sonoma State University. While in graduate school, I completed a traineeship at Santa Rosa Junior College, where I worked with clients facing challenges associated primarily with anxiety, depression, adjusting to a new stage of life, processing former trauma, and burnout.
My greatest joy is helping clients move through challenging transitions and cultivate their own voice. As a bicultural, non-binary clinician, I hold cultural humility and justice as core values, and help clients integrate their many identities into their mental health journeys. I hope to meet you exactly where you are and provide a non-judgmental, structured space to set goals and move forward together.
While I can work with a lot of different kinds of people, I specialize in working with those who identify as “creatives” in some way — whether that means you work in a creative field, you do creative work on the side, or you dream of finding ways to bring creativity into your life more. I also work closely with teens and adults in the LGBTQ+ community, whether you are questioning or identify strongly with a particular label.
My style is warm, relational, and proactive. I like to show up as myself in the room, and integrate humor and genuineness into my relationships with clients. I practice through several different therapeutic lenses and tailor my approach to each client. Some of these lenses include: Narrative Therapy, DBT, Solution-focused Approaches, Trauma-Informed Approaches, Nervous System Regulation, and Attachment Theory.
I look forward to the possibility of working together!
